The Hispanic Heritage Month Committee organizes and coordinates Hispanic Heritage Month activities from member organizations celebrating Latino culture, art, music, poetry, education, and cuisine that recognize community leaders and their contributions to the state of New Mexico and the United States.  The event series kicks off September 8, 2011, with a press conference and continues with official events from September 15 - October 15, 2011 throughout Albuquerque, Santa Fe and surrounding areas.

Más New Mexico, in partnership with Hispanic Heritage Month Committee, will publish an Official Hispanic Heritage Month Events Program.
The official bilingual program with a calendar, feature articles and highlights of individual events related to Hispanic Heritage Month.
